Thomas Meagher

MEAGHER – Thomas, 75, of Johnstown, died December 16, 2020, at St. Jude’s Haven. Born January 9, 1945, in Johnstown the son of Thomas F. and Mary J. (Elliott) Meagher. Preceded in death by his parents; son, Eric Meagher; brother, Robert Meagher; and special friend, Patricia Cuthbert.  He is survived by his loving children: Christine, wife of Gregory Ifft, Saxonburg; Gregory, married to Monica (Novak) Meagher, State College; and Kevin, married to Faith (Pytash) Meagher, Blawnox; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother, Richard Meagher, Milwaukee, WI; and Patricia A. Meagher, Johnstown.  Thomas was retired from the rod and wire mill at Bethlehem Steel Corp. and was retired from St. John Gualbert Cathedral as head of maintenance.  He was a member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral and was very active in his high school reunion committee. Due to the current COVID pandemic, the family will have a funeral service for Thomas at a later date.  The family is being served by the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street.
