Thomas L. "Jake" Miller

MILLER – Thomas “Jake”, 77, of Johnstown, passed away February 9, 2024, at Conemaugh Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born August 15, 1946, in Boswell, PA the son of William and Nellie Genevie (Kennell) Miller. Preceded in death by his parents, brother, William and sister, Linda. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Donna (Kot) Miller; children: Clifford Miller; Wanda, married to JD Foust; and Richard “Butch” Miller; stepdaughter, Shannon Kot; grandson, Devin; and sister, Betty, married to Ron Chronowski.  Jake retired from Freight Car America and was a 1966 graduate of Jenner-Boswell High School and was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He loved camping, playing horseshoes, golfing and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates, Penguins and Steelers Fan. Friends will be received from 1-4 p.m. Wednesday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Interment will be held at Grandview Cemetery at a later date.
