William "Bill" Findley

FINDLEY - William H., “Bill”, 83; Johnstown, passed away on March 7, 2025. Born in Johnstown on February 10, 1942, son of Harvey and Marion (Herbert) Findley.  Preceded in death by parents; son, Matthew Findley; and brother, James Findley.  Survived by loving wife of 50 years, Frances (Cassidy) Findley of Johnstown; and son, William F. married to Courtney Miller-Findley of Hummelstown, PA; and sister-in-law, Dee Findley of Duluth, MN.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Bill served with the PA National Guard, 28th Military Police Company.  He was a Labor Market Analyst for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  A member of the Derby Global Church.  Friends received Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:00 p.m., at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. Broad Street. Pastor Bruce Griffith officiating.  Committal will follow at Grandview Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West Hills Regional Fire Department or Hilltop Ambulance Service in memory of Bill Findley, at 1000 Luzerne St Johnstown, PA 15905.  The family would like to thank the CNA's and nursing staff of the Westmont Woods for their compassionate care.  Condolences may be sent at fgozogfuneralhome.com
