SEFCIK –William “Bill”, 89, of Westwood, New Jersey, died on March 30, 2020 at Hackensack Meridian Health Pascack Valley Medical Center in New Jersey from the coronavirus. Born March 21, 1931 in Johnstown, PA. Preceded in death by parents, Michael and Helen (Tertinsky) Sefcik; brothers, Frankie, Richard, Robert and Stephen Sefcik; brothers-in-law, Stephen Kralik, and Douglas West of Hermitage, PA, and sister-in-law Margaret (Caddy) Sefcik. Survived by wife, June (Hoar) Sefcik, and these brothers and sister: James, Edward (Sandy), Dolores Kralik, Rosemary West, Loretta (Sutt), Bettyann, Joseph (Christie Friedman), Alfred, and Martha, and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill and June were a fun loving couple who liked to go on bus trips to Atlantic City, with other people, and they easily became friends. Bill liked the horses and June liked the slot machines. They were active in their church and community. A burial was held on April 2, 2020 at the Madonna Church Cemetery. Bill served in the Korean War, and a military service is being planned for family and friends at a later time. We miss him like all the others before him, and pray for them all.
