FELIX – George, 93, of Lower Yoder Township, passed away September 26, 2017, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born September 15, 1924, in Johnstown the son of John and Anna (Findish) Felix. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pauline M. (Belichak) Felix, who he married on August 26, 1950, and was married to for 58 years; brothers: Joseph and John Felix; and sisters: Mary Decker; Anne Kostura; Helen Dorian; Margaret Felix; Rose Hudak; Dorothy Johns; and Irene Harper. Also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Thomas Martin. He is survived by his children: Janice E. Martin, Hamilton, OH; Joanne E. McMillen, Ebensburg; Susan J., wife of Brian Ryba, Boswell; and David G. Felix, Pittsburgh; grandchildren: Candace Martin; Kristy and husband, Steve Witters; Thomas Martin, Jr. and wife, Sarah; James McMillen, Jr. and wife, Rachael; and Jill McMillen; great-grandchildren: Kayla Witters; Mark Witters; Tyr Martin; Phoenix Martin; Haley McMillen; and Julia McMillen; brother, William Felix and wife, Mary Catherine; brother-in-law, Frank Belichak; and sister-in-law, Olga Belichak. George was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church; a 1942 graduate of Greater Johnstown High School; U.S. Army Veteran of WWII serving in Europe; and retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp where he was a millwright in the Wire Mill. He loved woodworking and made numerous items, large and small, through the years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the FRANCIS G. OZOG FUENRAL HOME, Inc., 710 Broad St. where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Franciscan Friars O.F.M. Conv.
